I Love My Dog

My furry friends love these as a treat or meal.

Turkey Woof Balls

  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 1 cup cooked brown rice (from 1/2 cup raw)
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped cooked broccoli
  • 2 tablespoons coarsely chopped fresh parsley
  • vegetable oil for frying

Place the ground turkey, rice, broccoli and parsley in a medium bowl and mix well. Roll the turkey mixture into walnut sized balls. Heat the oil in a large skillet over medium heat and fry the meatballs, turning, until golden on all sides, 6 to 7 minutes. Cool and freeze in batches. The meatballs can be frozen up to 2 months. Allow the meatballs to cool completely before serving to your furry companions.
