Ingredients:
- 4 cups of rice flour
- 1 tbsp of baking powder
- 2 1/2 cups of water
- 1/2 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp honey
- 1/2 cup finely chopped apple
- 1/2 cup finely chopped carrots
- 1 tbsp peanut butter
- 1 beaten egg
Directions:
Mix together all the ingredients. Spoon into small muffin molds and bake at 350 degrees F for about 60-75 minutes. Remove chews from the molds as soon as possible (cool enough to handle). Store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Optional: Yogurt frosting, 6 oz container for about 30 dog cookies. Plain organic yogurt and 2 tablespoons of honey. Blend well. Frost your cooled cookies, place in refrigerator for 30-45 minutes.
Your dog might enjoy treats cold, if not bring back to room temperature. Keep uneaten cookies in refrigerator, so they do not go bad.
